1. What data we collect

Rinko is designed to keep your business data on your computer. However, for license activation and validation, the Software transmits the following to our servers:

• Machine code (a unique identifier generated from your computer's hardware, not a personal identifier)
• Your name (as entered during activation)
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• License key and activation status

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your customer data (names, phone numbers, sales)
• We do not collect your inventory or pricing
• We do not collect your financial totals or business reports
• We do not track your location
• We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics inside the Software

3. Why we collect the data we do

The data listed in section 1 is used exclusively for:

• Activating your license on your machine
• Validating that your subscription is active
• Preventing license abuse and trial abuse
• Contacting you about your subscription or important product updates

4. How long we keep it

License data is retained for as long as your subscription is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your license data by emailing us.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We may share it with the following categories of service providers, strictly to operate the Software:

• Payment processors (Razorpay), to process your subscription payment
• Cloud infrastructure providers (Cloudflare), to host our license validation servers
• Email providers, to send you transactional emails related to your subscription

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of your license data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@getrinko.in. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Data transmitted to our servers is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. We take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold, but no system is completely secure.

8. Children

Rinko is a business tool intended for use by adults operating a retail business. It is not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
